Lord Howe Island is approximately 6 Klms long and 1.5 Klms wide. It was the last significant island land mass to be discovered by Europeans. Its had never been inhabited by humans but had always had an abundant seabird life and just a few land birds. By January each year all the seabirds, except two species that nest in the winter months, are busy raising chicks and many of the land birds are too. Here in two minutes are almost all of them set to a jig played by the Brisbane Irish band, Malarky.
